Thirteen years ago, Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg started working on something, which many experts said it was impossible - a solar-powered plane that can fly day and night. After years of work, development, errors, and repeated attempts, they succeeded in creating an airplane that is ready to fly around the globe, only on solar power. In a five-day flight over the Pacific Ocean, at 9000 meters, without a drop of fuel, with a Boeing 747 wing span and weight, the Solar Impuls and its pilots proved that everything is possible. This unique aircraft successfully flew around the Earth, giving a completely new dimension to the meaning of renewable energy. The film "A Point Of No Return" explores what is really needed to do something really revolutionary. This is a story of hope, courage and perseverance that enters in the essence of what is needed, so that mankind can make full transition to pure forms of energy in the near future.
The film was screened at more than 40 festivals around the world.
